Areté Music Academy is conveniently located near Sylvan Avenue (US-9W) and several major highways, including I-95, RT-4, I-80, and Palisade Parkway.

Directions from Manhattan by public transportation

1. Take the A or 1 train to George Washing Bridge Bus Station on 178^th Street.
2. Take either NJ Transit Bus #186 or Coach USA Bus Route 9.
3. Get off the bus at Sylvan Ave and Bayview Ave.
4. From the bus stop, head northeast on Sylvan Ave toward the Toyota dealer and turn left onto Van Nostrand Ave. The school is located in the second colonial-style brick building on the left.

1. Take the A or 1 train to George Washing Bridge Bus Station on 178^th Street.
2. Take any bus to cross the GWB and get off at the first bus stop.
3. Follow the staircase to the street level.
4. If you choose to walk to Areté from here, it would take approximately 20 minutes. There is also a taxi stand nearby.
