Musicianship
The weekly Musicianship class is a core component of music education at Areté. We believe it is essential that our students, not only can they play their instruments or sing beautifully, can hear accurately, read fluently, and understand the fundamentals of music. The weekly group classes are designed to teach students, through a sequential curriculum, basic rhythms, scales, intervals, harmony, sight-singing, dictation, and simple composition.
