Annie Hung, a violinist from Changhua, Taiwan, began studying the violin at the age of four. She attended the Interlochen Center of the Arts for her high school studies and graduated in 2010, during which she had been selected as concertmaster numerous times. Following her success at Interlochen she continued her studies at the Manhattan School of Music where she studied with Isaac Malkin throughout her Bachelor and Masters degrees.
While at MSM, she received a scholarship due to her high standard of academic and professional work, and played several recitals during the school year in New York. Annie is currently pursuing her Artist Diploma at Brooklyn College under the tutelage of Jesse Mills, where she is also the concertmaster of the orchestra and a participant in numerous chamber recitals. She also pursues piano, having studied it concurrently with violin throughout her life, and currently accompanies privately as well as at Brooklyn College. She will return to Manhattan School of Music next year to pursue her collaborative piano degree.
