Private Voice Lessons

One-on-one private lessons are available in 30, 45, and 60 minutes. Lessons meet once a week for 16 weeks per semester or 32 weeks per school year. Fall semester starts from mid-September to the end of January. Spring semester is from February to mid-June. Lessons are also available twice a week. New students have the opportunity to meet with the director or the department head for consultation. Assignment of teacher is determined based on the student’s needs, goals, past experience, and availability. Whenever possible, students will be placed with the teacher of their choice. Students are not permitted to change teacher during the course of a semester; any change of teacher is at the discretion of the director. Tuition for private lessons is pro-rated for students registering after the semester started.

Performance opportunities—Arete Music Academy offers two student concerts during the school year. 

Arete Certificate Program—This comprehensive program consists of several core components that are vital to a child’s music education. Upon completion of all the requirements, students will earn a certificate as well as a performance evaluation at the end of the year.
