Areté Music Academy is proud to present its new Guitar Program, designed for students of all ages and levels. Led by experienced and conservatory-trained teachers, students learn basic techniques, posture, chords, rhythms, and music-reading.
Whether it’s for acoustic, classical or electric guitar, students may choose to take lessons in private or group setting. We are located in Englewood Cliffs and minutes from Palisades Park.
PRIVATE LESSON All ages & levels
Students may choose to enroll in a full-year program (32 weeks) or a semester program (16 weeks). Tuition for private lessons is pro-rated for students registering during the school year. Private lessons are available in 30, 45, and 60 minutes. All lessons meet once a week.
GUITAR FOR KIDS Group classes for ages 5-7 & 7-10
A 10-week introduction course for kids to learn about the instrument, proper posture, finger coordination, and music-reading. The group class sets a foundation for playing all styles of music with the guitar. Enrollment is limited to 4 students per class.
GUITAR FOR FAMILY Group class for family & friends
Bond with your kids by learning the instrument together in the same class! Together you can help each other learn better and faster. Challenge each other every week with new technique, posture, finger coordination, and music-reading. Each class is limited to 3 students.
