Anna Keiserman

An experienced piano instructor, Russian pianist Anna Keiserman has taught students of all ages and levels since 2004. At New York University and University of Minnesota School of Music, she taught private lessons and group classes to students of both music majors and non-majors. In addition, she has taught young children of all levels at Cyprus School of Music in Minneapolis, as well as Columbus School of Music and Dance in Columbus, GA. Ms. Keiserman believes that each student has their own strength and when you build on a child’s strength, he or she comes to believe that they can do everything and that piano is not so difficult.

Ms. Keiserman received her bachelor of music degree from Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow, Russia, where she was a student of the Chair of Piano Department Vladimir Tropp. After that she moved to the U.S. and completed her master’s degree in piano performance at the University of Minnesota where she studied with Alexandr Braginsky. She currently is studying with Eteri Andjaparidze at NYU Steinhardt School of Art. Born in Ekaterinburg, Russia, Ms. Keiserman began her piano studies at the age of five in Volgograd Music School, where she studied with Irina Peniaeva.
