Q: Who attends Areté Music Academy?

A: Areté Music Academy is a community music school open to all children, teens and adults. All levels of ability are welcome.


Q: When can I register?

A: Registration for private lessons is ongoing and tuition will be prorated when applicable. If you're interested in registering for group classes, please contact the office (201) 205-1121 for the most up-to-date class schedule.


Q: How do I pay for my classes?

A: Payments can be made by cash, check, or AMEX/MasterCard/Visa. All AMEX/MasterCard/Visa payments must be made in person at Areté Music Academy.


 Q: Is there a registration fee or annual fee in addition to the tuition?

A: None! We do not charge any registration fee.


Q: Is the School closed during certain holidays?

A: Yes. For school closings, please click here to view or download our school calendar.


Q: Are there performance opportunities for students?

A: Yes! At the end of every semester students of all ages and levels have the opportunity to perform in our beautiful performance space. Please check our calendar of events for details.


Q: Can I practice at Areté Music Academy?

A: Yes. Areté Music Academy is pleased to make the majority of its facilities available for rent to its students and other musicians, performers and non-profit organizations. Depending on the arrangement, certain rental rates may apply.


Q: How can I get more involved at Areté Music Academy?

A: There are lots of ways to help out at Areté Music Academy! We are always in need of volunteers to help out with in-house projects and our numerous free events. Additionally, Areté Music Academy actively seeks new leadership candidates for our Board of Advisory.


Q: How can I find out about recitals, events and other happening at Areté Music Academy?

A: Our e-Newsletters are a great way to stay in touch with Areté Music Academy. Every semester, our newsletter will tell you about all of the great things going on, including student recitals, free concerts and events, registration deadlines and other important information for students. Please submit your email at the Newsletter Sign-Up on the first page of our website.
