Born and raised in Troy, Michigan, Christine began her studies in piano at the age of 5. She received both her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Juilliard School, where her principal teachers included Julian Martin, Choong-Mo Kang, and Hung-Kuan Chen. Currently, she is a candidate in the prestigious Doctor of Musical Arts program at the Yale School of Music, where her teachers have included Peter Frankl, Christopher Elton and Peter Serkin.
Christine has taught students of all ages and skill levels for over ten years. She was on faculty at the Juilliard School in the Keyboard Skills department, where she taught group piano classes. She was also a Secondary Piano instructor for students at the Yale University and School of Music, as well as a teaching assistant in Music History and Analysis classes at Yale.
As an active performer, Christine has appeared on stages throughout the U.S. and Europe, including Lincoln Center and Merkin Hall, (New York), the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater (Washington D.C.), Benaroya Hall (Seattle), Teatro San Rocco (Seregno), Petit Palau de la Música Catalana (Barcelona) and Théâtre du Châtelet (Paris).
