Pianist Ellen Lee, a native of South Korea, began playing piano at the age of 4. After receiving her Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music, she has furthered her piano studies in the Professional Studies Certificate Program at MSM under the tutelage of Dr. Arkady Aronov.
As an experienced piano teacher, Ms. Lee has worked with students of all ages and levels since 2005. She enjoys working with young students who have no prior experience. Ms. Lee is currently on the faculty of Areté Music Academy and Brooklyn Musical Arts.
As a performing artist, Ms. Lee has performed and attended music festivals throughout Germany, South Korea, and the United States, including the Korea-Germany Brahms Association Rising Star Concert Series and ChamberFest at The Juilliard School with her trio group. Among the awards and prizes she has won are the first prize in the Korea National Music Association and second prize at the I-sang Yun Memorial Tongyoung Music Competition in Korea.
