A native of South Korea, pianist Jongsun Lee began playing piano at the age of 6. Ms. Lee has had more than 10 years of experience teaching piano to students of all ages and levels. In November 2013, she was one of the guest speakers at the TEDxSNUSuwon where she talked about the modern relationship between composer and performer.
Ms. Lee received her Bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Ewha Womans University and her Master’s degree in piano performance from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance. Ms. Lee made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2014 as the 2nd place winner of the American Protégé International Piano competition. In addition, she has won many other competitions and awards, including the Korea Music Competition, Donga Music Education News Concours, Price of Korea Piano Duo Concours, and the Italy Verbania International Music Competition.
